                          How to get?



Sidney Opera House is the most famous monument in Sidney and to arrive can be difficult because you don’t know how to get.  You can take the Sidney bus, that is the most comfortable public transport to get in. The buses run 24 hours 7 days a week. The bus run in circle for all the city, so you can get the bus in any stop.

Ferry services operate around Sidney Harbour from Circular Quay, crosing all the monuments. 

Sidney’s train network is an efficient way of travelling around the city. You can take the ferry stoping in Circular Quay. 

To get in Sidney Opera House you must get out in all public transports at Circular Quay.

If you want an incredible trip you must get in the Sidney Opera House tour. This tour takes 1 hour  and is in english, but you can get also in other languages. The tour cost is 45$ for adults, 25$ for child and 35$ for concession. The child must be to 5 to 15 years and concession must get the Australian Senior Cards.

It was designed by the architect Jorn Utzon, that is a known Danish arquitect. The famous sails that he created it have become a symbol of the city. They started making at 1959 and it opened his doors at 1973. Five decades later is the leading tourism destination and one of the world’s busiest performing arts centres and a community meeting place that belongs to all Australians.


He born in 1918 in Copenhagen. When he was 12 years his parents talk him about a gallery they went and it that time he decided he want to be an arquitect. He 
 was selected in a difficult competition where judges select the winner. On 1957 they announced the winner, who was an unknown Danish arquitect in that time. It was estimated that the project would cost 3.5$ million. 

On 28 of June of 2007 the Sidney Opera House was included on the Unesco Heritage List. Taking a place with some of the most famous monuments in the world, such as: Taj Mahal, Pyramids of Egypt and the Great Wall of China.

                    Commonwealth of nations

Barbados is one of the members of the commonwealth of nations. It’s a small island in the Atlantic ocean. It became an independent country in 30 of November of 1966 with Errol Barrow becoming the first minister. But, to enter to the commonwealth of nations, they had to wait until 2021. Something incredible about this country are his spectacular caves were you can swim and they have the 3rd most old parlament in all the world. Now the president is Sandra Mason who is doing a renovation in the country.


In 2022 they celebrated the commonwealth sport in Birmingham. 72 countries fight to win a medal. In total they were more than 4500 athletes and 283 medal events. Birmingham was the city because is the youngest city in Europe and 1 80 nationalities live in this incredible city.
